The Colorado Alliance of Mineral and Royalty Owners (CAMRO) is the only organization in the state strictly focused on preserving and advancing the rights of mineral and royalty owners across our state.

Founded in 2016 to provide Colorado-specific mineral owner representation, CAMRO brings together a diverse community of members who share a common goal: protecting private property rights and supporting responsible energy development that strengthens local economies and rural livelihoods.

CAMRO provides education, takes legislative and regulatory actions, and hosts statewide conventions that bring mineral owners together. Through townhall meetings and ongoing outreach, we equip mineral owners with the tools to manage their minerals effectively while sharing factual information about the benefits of responsible energy development with the general public.

In addition, CAMRO is dedicated to promoting a sustainable and balanced approach to Colorado’s energy future. Colorado communities rely on affordable, reliable energy and the economic benefits it creates—including tens of thousands of jobs and nearly $30 billion in annual economic activity.
